FAQs
Do you design holiday lets?
Yes. We work with holiday let owners across the Lake District, Cumbria, Lancashire & North Yorkshire to create interiors that are attractive, practical & guest friendly. We can even provide a full turn-key service. A turn-key service means finishing your holiday let so that it is kitted out, right down to the cutlery & glassware, ready to let immediately and start generating revenue for you.
Do you work on small projects?
Yes. We can help with a single room, colour advice, sourcing, styling or a full interior scheme.
Do you source vintage furniture & art?
Yes. Vintage and character pieces are a key part of our work, especially where a property needs warmth, individuality and a sense of place. We have a little black book of contacts and locations to find those special pieces for your project.
Do you just work in the Lake District?
No. We are available for projects across the Lake District, Cumbria, Lancashire & North Yorkshire as well as further afield. Other completed projects include the Cotswolds & Cheshire (Altrincham).
I've never used the services of an Interior Designer before- is it for me?
Considering engaging an Interior Designer can be daunting if you haven't done so before. We offer a free initial consultation to meet, discuss your requirements and there is no obligation to take it further.
Many clients find that engaging an interior designer, particularly at the beginning of a renovation, can be very useful in terms of planning the layout & electrical schemes meaning less, often costly changes needed later on.
Do you offer project management services?
Yes. This is often a good option for second home or holiday let owners who live elsewhere and need someone local to manage their renovation or build.
How much do you charge?
We offer two simple fee options- an hourly rate with a minimum ten hour commitment, or, for larger, more involved projects, a percentage fee of total budget.
