Payment is made in full at the time of booking. Your appointment is confirmed once you receive email confirmation from Lakeland Interior Design.
 

Before your consultation

Please provide a link to the property particulars, together with any particular questions or concerns you would like me to consider.

I ask for at least 48 hours before your appointment to review the property properly. If there is insufficient time or information for me to prepare properly, I may contact you to rearrange the consultation.

Cancellation & rescheduling

You have the right to cancel an online booking in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

If your consultation takes place within 14 days of booking, you may ask me to begin work during the statutory cancellation period. This includes reviewing the property particulars, photographs and floorplan before our consultation.

If you cancel after I have begun this work, I may deduct from any refund a reasonable amount reflecting the work already carried out. If the service has been fully performed after you expressly requested that it begin during the cancellation period and acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost on full performance, your statutory right to cancel may have ended.

Where possible, I am happy to rearrange an appointment if you give me at least 48 hours' notice.

If the property is sold or withdrawn

I understand that property purchases can move quickly. If the property is sold or withdrawn before I have begun reviewing it, I will be happy to transfer your booking to another property.

If I have already begun the review, please contact me and we will agree the fairest way to proceed, taking into account the work already carried out.

What this service provides

A Property & Design Consultation is an independent, design-led assessment of a property's layout, proportions, character, potential and suitability for your needs.

It is not a building survey, structural assessment, property valuation or legal opinion, and it is not a substitute for advice from a surveyor, solicitor, architect or other appropriately qualified professional.

Any comments I make about possible alterations or improvements are design observations only. They do not confirm structural feasibility or that planning permission, listed-building consent, building regulations approval or any other consent will be granted.

Interior design credit

Where stated, the cost of your Property Review may be credited against a subsequent interior design project with Lakeland Interior Design following your purchase of the property. The credit is personal to the client who booked the consultation and has no cash value.
